“Why Have Your Children Fingerprinted?”
In 80 years of fingerprint classification, no two identical sets of fingerprints have been found. The grooves, ridges and patterns on each finger provide a unique form of identification. These unique fingerprints are formed seven months after conception, and although the size of each finger will continue to grow into adulthood, the relative position of ridges with other markings will remain the same. Your fingerprints are a unique combination of ridges, which can be used as a valuable investigative tool to law enforcement. It is an infallible means of identifying individuals. And although fingerprinting your child is not necessarily key in preventing abduction, it will likely provoke an important topic in education and awareness between parent and child. As a parent, if you are committed to taking advantage of every available tool for protecting your child, he or she should certainly be fingerprinted.
These records are on a Non-laminate card so that information can be updated, and are designed for parents to be KEPT AT HOME.
